Biography
Nikki Maples has been a trusted voice in the Austin family law community for more than two decades. Her practice is devoted exclusively to family law, guiding clients through divorce and custody matters with clarity, creativity, and a steady hand.
Nikki is particularly known for her thoughtful and strategic approach to dividing complex marital estates. Whether navigating cases involving businesses, high-net-worth assets, family trusts, or complex property issues, she looks beyond the obvious solutions to find practical outcomes that protect her clients’ financial futures. While she is highly experienced in complex financial matters, her approach and insight benefit families facing all types of family law challenges.
At the heart of Nikki’s practice is a genuine commitment to the people behind each case. She understands that family law matters often come during life’s most difficult transitions, but she believes divorce does not have to define a family’s story. Nikki approaches every case with creativity, compassion, and authenticity, helping clients move forward with confidence while remaining mindful of the long-term well-being of their children and families.
Outside the office, Nikki embraces the active and vibrant lifestyle that makes Austin unique. She’s a devoted dog lover, an enthusiastic foodie, and an outdoor adventurer who enjoys sailing, snowboarding, backpacking and staying active. You’ll often find her spending time with family and friends on the Greenbelt, supporting local businesses, or participating in Austin’s many community events….and, if you can’t find her, she’s probably living her double life roaming through the outdoor markets and vineyards of Provence.
FUN FACT: Nikki is known (and teased) by her friends and family as being prone to unique and odd accidents, many of which result in hospital visits. Go ahead, ask her, she has a book of stories about her accidents, which she describes as “adventures.”
